WHY PLAY FOR FCA MARYLAND CLUB?
FCA LACROSSE MISSION
FCA is committed to developing three-dimensional athletes and coaches—mental, physical and spiritual.
The FCA Lacrosse Maryland Club program was started in 2012. The FCA Lacrosse Maryland Girls Club Program was started in 2017. The goal of the FCA Maryland Club Program is to provide highly dedicated and skilled youth lacrosse players the opportunity to compete at a high level, develop their skills and God given potential while facilitating intentional opportunities to grow in their relationship with God. Our hope is to develop Christ-centered leaders in the lacrosse community who maximize their God-given purpose and potential on and off the field.
There is more to life than lacrosse. These young girls are exposed to situations at a much earlier age. With the rise of social media, drugs and alcohol, and peer pressure our goal with FCA Lacrosse is to walk with these players side by side through life and equip these female players with a strong foundation that will allow them the comfort and strength to be able to handle any situation that they may face.
FCA LACROSSE PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is for our high school teams to compete in two fall tournaments, while our youth teams to play in one tournament. We stress the multi-sport athlete!
In the winter we have a skills development program that runs throughout the month of January andFebruary. In addition, we have a retreat for a day of fun and fellowship!
During the Spring, we play in the most competitive Spring League. In addition, we will also host and schedule additional play dates with teams to prepare our teams for the summer tournaments.
During the summer, we will play in two to three tournaments that will feature the most competition at their respective grade while also garnering the most exposure to college coaches.
